First Excursions, Then Border: Poland Published Selfies Of Illegal Immigrants Made In Minsk

The photos have been found in the phones of migrants.

The Polish Border Guard Service has published photos that were reportedly found in the phones of migrants who were trying to cross the border illegally.

"The photos found in the phones of illegal migrants show them coming to Belarus as tourists, visiting the capital of that country for a few days, and then being taken to the Polish border, which they try to cross illegally," the service said in its Twitter post.

Polish border guards recorded 233 attempts to cross the border illegally yesterday. Eight migrants were detained: 4 from the Congo, 3 from Iran and 1 from Syria. The other attempts were prevented. Three foreigners - from Belarus, Romania and Sri Lanka - were arrested for complicity.
