Tenants Move Out Of Building Owned By Lukashenka's Serbian Friends In Minsk

The reason is the sanctions.

Women's health startup Flo is closing an office in the Minsk business center, built by the Serbian holding company Dana. According to Euroradio, the reason was the American sanctions against Serbian businessmen, the Karic brothers. An internationally registered company cannot have such a landlord. Now employees will work "remotely".

Flo is one of the most successful Belarusian IT startups.

However, Dana Center is unlikely to lose only Flo among its tenants. Numerous Western brands and companies have offices and shops here. Theoretically, problems may arise with payments by the Art Chaos gallery, owned by a Cypriot company and managed by Lukashenka's daughter-in-law Lilia Lukashenka. Paying rent through bank accounts can become much more difficult.
