Law Enforcers Die Under Strange Circumstances In Kazakhstan

Three dead this morning.

The security forces are dying under strange circumstances in Kazakhstan. Correspondent of the Kazakhstani news agency Orda.kz from Taraz reports that the head of the Zhambyl Oblast police department, General Zhanat Suleimenov, committed suicide.

A criminal case was opened against him following protests, and he was facing a tribunal.

Then it was reported that a colonel of Kazakhstan's National Security Committee, Azamat Ibrayev, was found dead in the yard of his house in Nur-Sultan.

He was diagnosed with a high-altitude trauma. During a search, the police found that a window in the kitchen room was open.

The NSC press office has not officially confirmed this, but said there would be a press release. The deceased man is described as an associate of former NSC head Karim Masimov.

A deputy head of a district police department has also died at his workplace in Almaty. The colonel's heart collapsed.
