‘Lukashenka Already Crossed All Red Lines': What Is Gryzlov's Mission About?
BORIS GRYZLOV

The new ambassador of the Russian Federation was sent to Minsk not by chance.

Let's try to explain why we paid so much attention in our several publications over the past month to the new Russian Ambassador, Boris Gryzlov. As we already wrote, this is a person with colossal political and managerial experience, which is strange for an ordinary position like an ambassador in a neighboring country, writes the Power Mirror Telegram channel.

Gryzlov served as Minister of the Interior in the most difficult time for Russia: there was a war in Chechnya, in cities across the country, terrorists blew up houses and subways. In addition, it is Gryzlov who is credited with the catchphrase about werewolves in uniform. He began full-scale purges in the ranks of the security officers, who had already managed to merge with the bandits and stopped protecting the people.

After that, he headed the State Duma several times. He is a member of the supervisory boards and boards of directors of large Russian defense enterprises. All this time and practically since the creation of the main party of the Russian parliament, Gryzlov headed one of the management resources in Russia.

Now Gryzlov is working on a project to resolve the conflict between Russia and neighboring Ukraine. Gryzlov is well known in the political circles of the Republic of Belarus, because negotiations on the Minsk agreements are held weekly. But he was dealing with Ukraine issues not just while being "on a well-deserved retirement." He appears in this arena not as an ambassador, but as a de facto negotiator after the situation in Ukraine has gone beyond all possible limits of the peace negotiation process.

It is no coincidence that Gryzlov, while retaining all his previous posts, has now been sent as an ambassador to the Republic of Belarus. From Moscow's point of view, Lukashenka has also gone beyond all the red lines.
