‘We Only Shot Once’: Mobilized Russians Thrown Near Luhansk Panic

The mobilised Russian soldiers emotionally describe their “preparation”.

The Russians, who are now in the city of Svatove, Luhansk region, complain about poor preparation before being sent to Ukraine. Sky News writes about this (translation — Unian»), referring to a video from Russian Telegram channels.

The soldiers in the video say that they are part of the recent mobilisation, and complain that they only left Moscow 11 days before the video was taken and that they have only shot a firearm once before being deployed.

“Listen, guys, we are in Svatove right now. We are mobilized, we are not obliged to be here in the first place,” one of the people in the video underlines.

The publication notes that multiple things in the video indicate the soldiers are Russian. They are wearing a standard type of Russian “Digital Flora” camouflage uniform.

The two weapons that can be seen in the video are variants of a Kalashnikov rifle, widely known as an AK, which are used by Russian forces.
