First Echelons Carrying Russian Military Men Arrive In Belarus

On the night of October 15, the first echelons with the Russian military men arrived in Belarus.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, these are military units that are part of the regional grouping of troops.

Russian serviceman, company commander Viktor Smeyan said that the Russian soldiers arrived “to help the fraternal Belarusian people”.

Lukashenka announced the deployment of a common group of troops of Russia and Belarus on the border with Ukraine on October 10. The dictator explained this by “aggravation on the western borders of the “union state”.

In total, according to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia plans to place 20,000 mobilized people in Belarus.
