Official Report: AFU Liberate Grekivka Village 23 Km From Svatove

The information was confirmed by the head of the Luhansk region.

The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are steadily advancing in Luhansk Region. They have liberated another settlement in the region - the village of Grekivka, located 23 kilometres from the town of Svatove.

The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Gaidai, said this on Telegramon Friday, October 7. He released a photo of the Ukrainian military from the de-occupied village.

"It's already official: the village of Grekivka of the Krasnorechynsk village community of Svatove district, Luhansk region has been liberated from the occupants!", Gaidai wrote.

Earlier, military analyst Yigal Levin said that Ukrainian soldiers might well launch an offensive against Russian invaders in Svatove in the future as part of the de-occupation of Luhansk Region, as this town opens up control over the operational space.
