Explosion At Military Airfield In Russian Kaluga Region

Russia launched an Iranian drone against Ukraine, and it exploded over the runway.

An attack could have been made on the airfield near the village of Shaikovka in the Kaluga region (the Russian Federation). It is stated that an unknown drone flew into the territory and exploded “above the runway”, writes obozrevatel.com.

This information was published by one of the propaganda Telegram channels at about 12:30 on Friday, October 7. It is not yet known whether there was any damage on the territory of the military facility and whether there was a drone at the scene.

Usually, the Russian media do not disclose information about the "bavovna" (bangs - Ed.), as it is classified in Russia. Moreover, the "journalists" of the aggressor country could deliberately fake the "attack" for their own purposes.

The authors of the Telegram channel wrote that a “large drone” most likely exploded on the territory of the military unit.

"According to available information, there were no casualties," the message reads.

Ukrainian war correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko noted that, probably, an Iranian drone fell and exploded at the Kaluga military airfield, which the invaders launched against Ukraine.

“An Iranian drone launched towards Ukraine crashed and exploded at the Russian airfield in Kaluga,” Tsaplienko wrote on his Telegram channel.
