Police Raid, Arrests In Pastavy

Several people have been detained.

During a raid in the city of Pastavy, Vitsebsk region, the law-enforcers detained three people. This was reported by the Viasna human rights center with a reference to local historian Kastus Shytal.

According to the locals, three people were detained on November 24: Yury Dzikovich, Uladzimir Lashchetka, Siarhei Liauko. Dzikovich’s place was searched back in 2021, he is a suspect in a criminal case.

“Criminal cases could have been opened against some of the detainees,” Shytal said.
