SIGNUM Fighters 'Chop Up' Wagner Unit With Mortars Near Bakhmut

About a dozen mercenaries have been killed by AFU strikes.

A video of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on the positions of the Wagner mercenaries near Bakhmut in Donetsk Region has appeared online.

The information was released on Twitter of the SIGNUM unit.

During the short video, the Ukrainian military show the three main stages of the strike: preparation, firing, recording the consequences. The special operation involves four people: a drone operator, two shooters and a man with a camera.

At the beginning of the footage, the fighters are standing next to the MK-19 grenade launcher. The Mavic-3 drone operator is not far behind them, keeping an eye on the enemy.

A short dialogue is heard: "Closer?", "No correction?", "Did you make it to the right?" they're preparing to strike.

Several shots are fired. It should be noted that the grenade launcher fires hardly audible.

The next few shots are consequences of the strike on the enemy:

a strike on the hideout of an RF unit. An enemy soldier trying to crawl away can be seen on the right;

A strike on a Wagner PMC mercenary shelter

The first strike is followed by two more strikes;

When AFU fighters see successful hits, they rejoice and continue to shoot at the target.

Three Russian fighters are seen running away.

One of them falls behind and a shell hits him. At that, we can see that two other soldiers do not even try to help the wounded man - they run past him and away.

The last section of the video shows seven points that were successfully hit by the SIGNUM mortar. There are 1 to 3 or 4 enemy soldiers in each point.

It is clear from the video how the Ukrainian fighters work. Thanks to the optics of the drone they can clearly see the target - distinguish the figure of the enemy several hundred meters away.

It should be taken into account that the range of the MK-19 grenade launcher is about 2 km. In other words, thanks to the use of the drone's optics, the AFU fighters can hit the Russian army infantry quite far away from the enemy's positions.
