An expert has made a statement about the Kalibr missiles.
Russia has a critical shortage of the Kalibr cruise missiles. Ukrainian military and political commentator Oleksandr Kovalenko has said that an estimated total salvo of the Russian grouping could amount to 64 to 100 Kalibrs. At the same time, the last most massive strike on Ukraine with this type of missile was carried out on December 6, and on that day, the Russians fired only up to 22 Kalibers.
- The last time Russian forces used 5 Kalibr cruise missiles was on December 16. And why is that? That is because on average, technically, the Russian military-industrial complex can produce 15 Kalibr cruise missiles a month, and technologically, 5-6. That is, we can safely speak about a critical shortage of these missiles," the expert noted.
Kovalenko concluded that the Russian Black Sea flotilla is now partially or fully unarmed, waiting for a new supply of missiles, which cannot fully cover the need every month:
- And in this context, the answer to another question is interesting, namely, what is the situation with the Kalibr missile carriers in other fleets and flotillas? It is possible that the missiles were removed from them and transported to the Crimean naval base, i.e. are the warships' launchers empty there as well? And what if NATO attacks?
