Pensioners Set Military Registration Office On Fire In Russia

One of the participants in the arson is 76 years old.

A retired couple set fire to a military registration and enlistment office in Podolsk, Moscow Region, Russia. One of the suspects is 76 years old.

The arsonists were caught red-handed outside the military registration and enlistment office on Lenin Avenue, the Russian Baza telegram channel reported.

A window at the military enlistment office was burned, but larger-scale spread of fire was avoided.

Initially it was reported that the military enlistment office was set on fire by two women, but later it turned out that it was a married couple - a 70-year-old man and his 76-year-old wife.

It is not known why the pensioners needed to set fire to the building.

RosSMI noted that they may have been acting on the instructions of telephone scammers.
