A video of the liquidation of Maria Pirogova, a "deputy" of the so-called "People's Council of the DPR", in Donetsk, which is temporarily under Russian control, has been posted on social networks.

The footage shows her talking to an unknown person about something, and when she approaches a car parked nearby, an explosion occurs.

The reasons for the explosion are not known, but Russian propaganda claims that it was "shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces".

Maya Pirogova, the mother of the collaborator, is also an accomplice of the occupiers and was included by the Russian side in the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas in 2021, due to which the Ukrainian delegation refused to hold further negotiations.

She is also known for her hateful statements about the "cleansing" of Mariupol by the Russian army, which has killed thousands of civilians.
