Germany Suspended Nord Stream 2 Certification

This is a response to the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics recognition.

The German authorities will suspend the certification of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, Radio Svaboda reports.

The decision is made because of the situation with the recognition of terrorists from the territory of Donbas.

"Plans to launch the gas pipeline should be reassessed," said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. It will also affect other issues in the sphere of interaction between Moscow and Berlin.
