Belarusian servicemen refuse to take part in hostilities against Ukraine. This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

According to the state institution, the conscription campaign for reservists, which was started by the Belarusian authorities, caused panic among the people.

"There are revolts in separate parts deployed near the city of Brest. The military personnel, including officers, express their unwillingness to take part in the war against Ukraine. Also, cases of departure of officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the country together with families became more frequent. In order to stabilize the situation, lower-ranking and senior-level officers began to come from Russia to be appointed to positions in the armed forces of Belarus,” the statement reads.
