Poland Declares Putin War Criminal

The Sejm of the Republic of Poland strongly condemns the war crimes committed by the aggressor country Russia in Ukraine. The resolution on the war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine says this.
The document has been adopted by acclamation, Polskie Radio reports.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has been declared a war criminal.
The resolution on committing war crimes and crimes against humanity and human rights violations by Russia in Ukraine was prepared by the Presidium of the Sejm.
"The Sejm of the Republic of Poland strongly condemns the acts of prolonged violence, war crimes, crimes against humanity, acts of genocide, systemic violations of human rights and other criminal violations of international law committed on the territory of sovereign Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation together with its allies under the orders of military commanders and president Putin", the resolution says.
"The Sejm of the Republic of Poland calls on all states recognising Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and right to self-determination to support by all means the initiation and conduct of proceedings before the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, and to use their powers in any international organisations to which they are members to hold Putin, members of the Russian Security Council and commanders of the Russian Federation's armed forces responsible for the war crimes, crimes against humanity, acts of genocide, systemic violations of human rights committed on the territory of sovereign Ukraine," the resolution said.
