"Bomb shelters are being prepared in Belarus, but not for the common people," an insider, an employee of a housing maintenance organization, told reporter of "Belsat" Aryna Malinouskaya in the "Honestly Speaking" program.

The worker of the housing maintenance organisation in Minsk, who agreed to speak on condition of anonymity, said they had received an order from the district administration: to prepare bomb shelters:

"There should be everything necessary for comfortable accommodation. We have to provide light, water and cleanliness. Please note that bomb shelters are not for people, but for the management. The locations are not disclosed and only a small circle of people know about them."

The insider also says that a lot of people call to their offices, complaining about the humming of the planes and asking where to hide from the war, when it starts in Belarus too.

"The worried citizens are ringing every minute. They are mostly elderly people and mothers on maternity leave. When I try to explain to them that I don't have such information, that our enterprise deals only with the land and everything in the sky is not our jurisdiction, they start cursing and getting hysterical and hanging up," says the worker of the housing and utility service.
