Interior Minister Arsen Avakov believes that if the Belarusian dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka decides to give an order and joins the war with Ukraine on the side of Russia, then the losses of his army will be huge.

“If everything is there, then with a high probability we should expect an attack. And we must be ready for this. And we are ready for this. And it will not weaken us much. Well, there will be an extra 15,000 fighters against us. <...> I'm afraid that they will have much more serious problems than Russians because they have a less trained army. Losses will be huge,” Avakov noted on the air of Radio NV.

The current situation, in his opinion, is well understood by the soldiers and officers of the Belarusian army, they are not motivated, and therefore the Lukashenka regime may soon end.

“I am afraid that Lukashenka may face the fact that he will give an order but the troops may go in the wrong direction. It's even fun for me to look at this situation. <...> It will be up to the liberal forces and all those who are brainy, all those who protested in Belarus, and there were millions of them. This is the moment to smack this mustached Сockroach and let it roll to the Russian Federation. Then Belarus will take its place among the peoples of Europe,” Avakov believes.
