A Russian Helicopter Came To Evacuate The Pilot Of The Downed Su-25 And Was Also Shot Down

The Ukrainian militaries on Friday, March 4, managed to shoot down the Russian helicopter Mi-8 near Volnovakha in the Donetsk region. It came in order to evacuate the pilot of the Su-25, which previously had been shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to Anton Herashchenko, the adviser of the Minister of Internal Affairs, in Telegram.

"The MI-8 helicopter of occupants arrived to evacuate the pilot of the aircraft who had been shot down near Volnovakha in the Donetsk region. They were "landed", too. We're expecting more," he wrote.

Let us recall, earlier the Staff of the Joint Forces Operation reported that the Division of Air Defense managed to shoot down the enemy fighter SU-25 near Volnovakha.

Yesterday, a Russian Su-34 fighter aircraft was shot down in the same region, it was bombing civilians and the city's infrastructure.
