Ukrainian Army Destroys Twelve Tanks and Repulses More Than Ten Enemy Attacks in Ukraine's East: General Staff Brief

What is happening on the morning of 11 May in the main battlefields in Ukraine.

Over the past 24 hours, the highest activity of the Russian army was observed in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions. Near Kharkiv, a grouping of separate units of the 6th Army Army, the 41st All-Army Army, the coastal forces of the Baltic and Northern Fleet are trying to prevent the advance of the AFU in the direction of the state border of Ukraine.

In the Izyum direction, the groupings of individual units of the 1st Tank Army and the 20th General Army of the Western Military District, the 29th, 35th and 36th General Armies and the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District and airborne troops will use all the available forces to attempt an offensive.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy concentrates its main efforts on the continuation of offensive actions to take full control of the town of Rubizhne and capture the settlements of Liman and Severodonetsk. Assault actions in Liman, Severodonetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Kurakhov directions with the support of artillery and rocket artillery units also continue.

Russian army units are attempting to improve their tactical position in the Yuzhno-Buzhno and Tavria directions. The enemy is using electronic warfare systems to suppress radio communication channels. In the Krivoy Rih direction, the Russian army is shelling units of our troops with artillery guns.

On the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the defenders of Ukraine in the past 24 hours repulsed twelve enemy attacks, destroyed twelve tanks, four artillery systems, nineteen pieces of armoured combat equipment, seven vehicles and two pieces of special engineering equipment of the enemy.
