Six Belarusian Army Battalions Are Building Up Near Ukrainian Border And Conducting Airspionage

They are conducting aerial surveillance and target acquisition against Poland.

Belarus has concentrated about six battalions of its army near Ukraine and is reinforcing the border area. They are also trying to conduct aerial reconnaissance.

RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the report of the speaker of the Ministry of Defence Oleksandr Motuzyanyk during a briefing.

"Volhynia and Polesia frontlines. We have identified up to six battalions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, reinforcing the section of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Brest and Homiel regions and conducting aerial reconnaissance in the border areas with Ukraine and Poland," Motuzyanyk said.

He also added that the threat of Russia's use of missile weapons and air strikes from the territory of Belarus still exists.

Note that in general, the battalion consists of several companies and separate platoons. Nowadays, battalion numbers range from 400 to 800 soldiers, depending on the national characteristics of the military organization.

Earlier it became known that there is a rather big threat of re-using the territory of Belarus for an attack against Ukraine, both Russian troops and the involvement of the Armed Forces of Belarus in this aggression.

At the same time, the missile strikes in the morning and at night on June 25 against 6 regions of Ukraine were specially carried out from the territory of Belarus. Such provocation was undertaken to involve Belarus in the war against Ukraine.

Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed all the Belarusians and warned that the Kremlin decided to involve Belarus in the war with Ukraine, and therefore urged them "not to go to their death, because the Russian leadership has decided".
