Fleeing From Snake Island, Russians Burn Documents: Military Hardware Lost

New details of liberating the island have become known.

The Ukrainian military has destroyed a field ammunition depot, a Tor surface-to-air missile system, a trailer with a diesel generator and one motor boat on Snake Island in the Black Sea as a result of missile and artillery strikes carried out against the Russian occupier's forces.

The enemy, while retreating from Snake Island, blew up a multiple rocket launcher and a transport vehicle to the Tor SAM system, the South operational command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine report.

"...Completing the emergency evacuation of personnel from Snake Island, the Rashists destroyed military hardware, documentation and property. The area, the pier and the surrounding waters near the island were probably mined...," the Ukrainian Armed Forces informed.

We remind you that on June 30, the South operational command reported that Ukraine's defenders had launched a strike at Snake Island during the night, after which the enemies had apparently left it. It became known later that Ukrainian soldiers shot down a Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter near Snake Island.
