Russia Changes Tactics Of Missile Attacks On Ukraine

The AFU revealed the details.

Russia has changed the tactics of using missiles to strike at Ukraine.

Yuriy Ihnat, the speaker for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this in an interview with NV.

According to him, since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, most often the Russians have launched Kalibr missiles in Ukraine from the Black Sea. However, after the destruction of the Moskva cruiser, and in connection with the anti-Russian sanctions, the enemy changed tactics.

“Earlier, the enemy used more high-tech missiles such as Kh-101, Kalibr and Iskander,” he added. “Today, tactics have changed somewhat. The Russians saw that missiles have the ability to run out. They began to think that sanctions were imposed against Russia, and, ultimately, there may be a shortage of the constituent substances from which these missiles are made. And the components of high-tech missiles are produced by the leading countries of the world. Obviously, there was some kind of command to save the use of these missiles in order to use them only in the most important areas where it's needed the most.”

As a result, Russia began to use outdated weapons, which they have a lot in warehouses. We are talking about Kh-22, Kh-59 missiles: “They are of different modifications, but they are old and extremely inaccurate.”

Earlier, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named a list of Russian missiles that the Ukrainian air defense system is not capable of effectively shooting down today.
