Since July 3, Artem has been in correctional colony No. 17 in Shklou, Viasna reports.

27-year-old Artsiom Sakau is a former border guard, a member of the nomination group of presidential nominee Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and one of the videographers of the Country for Life Youtube channel. He was detained on May 31 in his own apartment, despite the fact that he was at the picket on May 29 during a provocation against Tsikhanouski, but then they did not touch him.

It is known that Sakau faced final charges under four articles of the Criminal Code. On December 14, 2021, in Homiel, Artsiom was sentenced to 16 years in a maximum-security prison.
