Annual Inflation In Belarus Gets Close To 18% in June

Food products in annual terms rose in price by 19.6%.

Annual inflation in Belarus in June amounted to 17.6%, Belstat reports. The price of non-food products rose most noticeably over the past year — by 19.7%.

Food products in annual terms rose in price by 19.6%, and paid services — by 11.3%.

At the same time, for the six months of this year — January-June — inflation amounted to 13.1%.

In May, monthly inflation was 1.1%. Food products rose in price by 0.7%, and non-food products — by 1.5%. Paid services last month became more expensive, according to Belstat, by 1.3%.
