Belarusian prisons kill true patriots.

Activist of the civil campaign European Belarus, Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, was in women's correctional facility No. 24 (Zarechche), chief editor of Charter97.org Natallia Radzina wrote on Facebook:

- Belarusian prisons kill true patriots. Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, activist of the civil campaign European Belarus, found herself in women's correctional facility No. 24 (Zarechche). The authorities have been hiding her whereabouts for over a month. PK-24 is a facility for female recidivists who have repeatedly committed serious crimes. It lies in the forest between Rechytsa and Svetlahorsk. It's known for its very harsh, unsanitary conditions and the hard physical labour of prisoners.

Everyone who has been there says it is "hell on earth", and the purpose of this institution is to psychologically break a person.

Palina is a strong woman, a real fighter. But now she needs saving! We will appeal to international institutions and human rights organizations. I ask Belarusian journalists, human rights activists and diaspora to speak out. This lawlessness should be stopped.
