It was possible to block the invaders in Vysokopillya due to the stupidity of their command.
Military expert, coordinator of the Information Resistance group Kostyantyn Mashovets commented on the operational situation around Vysokopillya near Kherson, where Russian troops practically fell into the “mousetrap”.
The expert notes that the complete encirclement of Russian troops has not yet occurred.

“In fact, there is a certain strip of territory south of Vysokopillya itself, which is under fire from the means of destruction of the advanced units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which in recent weeks have been able to advance south of the Ivanivka-Vysokopillya road, in the area of the Olhino settlement…
From the second flank, near the village of Potemkine, Ukrainian units also managed to advance to a certain distance southeast of Vysokopillya ... and consolidate fire control over this area.
Thus, the tactical group of Russian troops in Vysokopillya turned out to be blocked from 3 (three) sides, continuing to hold this smallest strip of territory only to the south and south-west of the village.
In total, there were up to 1,000 of them (now less).

This group consists mainly of Russian servicemen of the airborne troops, namely, the 11th Guards Airborne Assault Brigade (up to 1 battalion tactical group), as well as a certain number of troops of the 205th separate motorized rifle brigade, and a certain number of “mobiles” “from the Donbas locations” (no more than one company). In all likelihood, military personnel from the 10th Special Purpose Brigade may also be present there.
A few days ago, I wrote that the moronic desire of the Russian military command to stubbornly hold unfavorable and tactically uncomfortable positions and lines will blow them up in the face in the end. In fact, this is what is happening.
Consequently, deliveries and movements along this strip of territory for Russian troops, due to continuous fire control by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are significantly complicated (I would even say, almost stopped),” the expert notes.
