Possible Offensive From Belarus: Chernihiv Residents Urged Not To Visit Forests

The head of the Chernihiv region addressed the residents.

The situation on the Ukrainian border is under control, but the border areas are under bombardment.

Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus reported about it on his Telegram channel.

“Actually, there are many questions about the situation on the border. In particular, the burning question is the beginning of the enemy's ground operation second phase. The situation on the border is under control as of 7:12 am. The border area is under bombardment. The attacks are the same as in the last few months. The State Border Service of Ukraine controls the situation on the state border," he said.

Chaus also urged the residents of the region not to neglect the ban on visiting forests.

“In addition, I want to appeal to the residents of the Chernihiv region about the ban on visiting forests. I beg you, dear citizens of Chernihiv, especially in our northern communities, not to neglect this ban. This is very important because there is a risk to your life and health. We are also preparing to meet the enemy, if he decides to come to us again. Therefore, please do not visit the forests," he stressed.

It should be noted that the enemy continues to deliver air and missile strikes, including from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Recall that today, on July 28, Russian invaders fired 25 rockets from the territory of Belarus. The Ukrainian Air Defense was also working. However, there were about 10 hits in the Chernihiv region.
