Russian Thermobaric Weapons: First Expert Reviews Of Terrorist attack In Olenivka Announced

Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announced the first reviews of the investigation by international experts in the case of the murder of the Ukrainian military on the air of the national telethon.

"Preliminary expert opinion is that the method of this murder is a thermobaric weapon. Not rocket attacks, of that they are sure. This is also confirmed by the information that the pre-trial investigation authorities are currently working on and under the guidance of prosecutors in the case," Andriy Kostin said.

The Prosecutor General said that urgent investigative actions have already begun, but this becomes more complicated to identifie the perpetrators.

Kostin also noted that now we need to focus on preventing Russians from distorting the events of the terrible tragedy.

"In my opinion, the priority is to expose propaganda and disinformation about the bombing of this building by HIMARS missile systems," the Prosecutor General added.

Kostin emphasized once again that the expert opinion proved that the explosion in the colony was the result of a thermobaric weapons use. The aggressor country uses this particular weapon often.

Recall: the Russian occupiers attacked the penal colony in the occupied Olenivka in the Volnovakha district. More than 50 captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed. The Kremlin tried to shift the responsibility for the crime to Ukraine. At the same time, the Security Service of Ukraine intercepted the negotiations of the invaders on the murder of Ukrainian prisoners in Olenivka. It follows from the interceptions that the “shelling” of the colony was carried out by the military of the Russian Federation.
