Eyewitnesses Claim That There Is 'No' Antonivka Bridge Anymore

There is information that the Russian military convoy came under attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the bridge.

Residents of Kherson claim that the last strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Antonivska Bridge literally “broke it in half,” according to the Novoye Vremya news publisher.

This is evidenced by a voice message published on Monday, August 22, in one of the local publics.

“For you to understand… Nastia’s mother called us. And she lives not far from the Antonivka Bridge. She said that they completely busted it in half! You know. It's over. There is no bridge already. Anyway, they bombed it into ruins. There, in short, in the middle of the bridge... Well, just, there is no bridge... It is no longer connected at all,” said a local resident.

At the same time, it is alleged that the fragments reached the nearby village of Antonivka.

In addition, there are still unconfirmed reports that about 10 Kamaz trucks with ammunition were moving along the bridge at the time of the strike. In the event of an explosion of trucks, this could lead to the consequences indicated.

There is no official confirmation of this information yet, however, judging by the published photo, which captures the moment one of the missiles hit, the explosion that followed was so powerful that it could lead to the destruction described.

Despite the regular shelling of the Antonivka Bridge and the crossings at the Kakhovska HPP, which are of strategic importance for the Russian troops, the occupiers did not stop trying to restore them.
