Belarusian Officer Shoots Himself In Luninets District

There's still no official information about the incident from the Ministry of Defense.

A Belarusian military officer has shot himself in Luninets district in Palesse on Monday, reports euroradio.fm.

The young military man was serving in a company of protection and maintenance of 250th separate battalion of the Western Operational Command, which is stationed in Hrodna. He was on guard of military facilities near Luninets. His disappearance was noticed during the guard change. Later the body was found in the woods with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

There has been no official information about the incident from the Ministry of Defence yet.
