Russian Airbase Blown Up In Crimea

Eyewitnesses report hearing at least seven explosions.

Eyewitnesses reported several explosions near the Russian military airfield Saki in the annexed Crimea. It is located near the village of Novofedirivka in the west of the peninsula. Presumably, ammunition depots are burning there, Krym.Realii writes.

What caused the explosions is not reported. The airfield is located deep in the back — more than 200 kilometers from the nearest Ukrainian positions in the Kherson region.

Witnesses say they have heard at least seven blows.
