Official Data: Ukraine Returns 215 Soldiers From Captivity, Including 108 Azov Soldiers

This is the greatest result since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

As part of the prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia, 215 of our military, including 108 Azov fighters, returned home.

RBC-Ukraine reports, citing a statement by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Yermak on the air of the telethon.

"This is the greatest result we have achieved since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation," the official said.

Yermak said that a great many well-known Ukrainian defenders returned: Denis "Redis" Prokopenko, Serhiy "Volyn" Volynsky, Svyatoslav "Kalyna" Palamar, Oleh Khomenko, Euhen Bova, Denis Shlegu, Ekaterina Polishchuk, Maryana Momonova and others.

Soldiers of the NGU, the Navy of Ukraine, the AFU, the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the Territorial Defence, the National Security Service, the SSU, the State Customs Service, the SSTD, as well as two civilians were among those released. A full list of those released is available at the link.

Besides, the official confirms the return of ten foreign fighters from Russian captivity.
