US Senator: Russian Nuclear Strike Against Ukraine Would Be Considered As Large-Scale Attack On NATO

Lindsey Graham has stressed that America will take decisive action.

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has said that in the event of a Russian nuclear strike on Ukraine, America would see it as a "large-scale attack on NATO".

The US Republican stressed that America should take measures as soon as possible to counter Kremlin chief Putin's nuclear blackmail.

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said this in a statement speaking at a session titled "From Nuremberg to Ukraine: Accountability for War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity," Dikgazete reported.

"If (Russian President - ed.) Putin continues to threaten Ukraine and uses nuclear weapons, we will consider it a large-scale attack on NATO. Radiation affects not only Ukraine, but all of Europe," the US senator said.

He added that a Russian nuclear strike would have disastrous consequences not only for Ukraine, but for the entire world.

"We must immediately confront this blackmail. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that if Russia used nuclear weapons in Ukraine, it would have devastating consequences, and he was right," the US senator observed.
