Residents of Biysk addressed the governor.
After the destruction of a military barracks in Makiivka, the wives of mobilized men from Biysk appealed to the governor of Yekaterinburg with cries for help.
On the previous day, footage from Biysk (Altai Territory, Russian Federation) appeared on the Web. The wives of the mobilized men begged to recall their husbands from the Zhytlivka settlement near Kremenna. They are on the front lines there.
Today, January 4, Anton Herashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, posted footage from Biysk on his Telegram channel.
Six women, including the one who was filming, asked the governor of Yekaterinburg to help the mobilized in Zhytlivka to be recalled from the front lines to the rear.
It is possible that the women had already heard about the emergency in Makiivka, when 400 to 600 mobilized men would return home in plastic sacks after the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The women came out in front of City Hall to record a video message.
The most interesting thing is that they are not asking for help from the governor of the Altai region, but from Yekaterinburg. According to the women, their husbands were only given machine guns and thrown to the front lines against Ukrainian artillery.
They ask to deploy units farther away from the front lines, to let their husbands hunker down.
"The children are waiting for their fathers to come home," the women stated at the end.
