North Korea Disgraced With Absurd Statement About War In Ukraine

Pyongyang repeated the Russian propaganda rhetorics.

North Korea has made a new absurd statement regarding the war in Ukraine, repeating Russian propaganda rhetorics.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK Im Jung-il said that the West is allegedly to blame for the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Glavred reports this with reference to the Yonhap news agency.

According to him, the threat to international order and global peace is posed by the United States through the creation of alliances around the world, and NATO is “the organizer of the Ukrainian crisis.”

The North Korean Foreign Ministry also noted that their country and Russia supposedly have traditional relations of friendship and cooperation.

At the same time, Pyongyang traditionally accused the United States of trying to create a false impression among the world community that relations between the DPRK and the Russian Federation threaten global peace.

Im Jung-il claims that the US and the West allegedly pushed relations between his country and Russia “to the pinnacle of development.”

Earlier, Kim Jong-un visited Russia. In his statement, he has already openly declared support for Putin’s aggression and even wished the Russians “victory” in the war.

According to Kyrylo Budanov, North Korea has been supplying the Russian occupiers with ammunition for a month and a half, in particular 122 mm and 152 mm shells, as well as the missiles for the Grad systems.

Recall, according to Reuters, if North Korea provides Russia with artillery shells and other weapons, this will help the aggressor country expand its ammunition reserves but is unlikely to change the course of the war. However, access to these reserves will likely significantly increase Russia's short-term capabilities.
