MEP: Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk Continues To Resist!

The international community must fight for the release of the prisoners of the Lukashenka regime.

The Lukashists sentenced the activist of the European Belarus Civil Campaign Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk to a year and three days in prison for “disobedience to the prison administration.” MEP from Portugal, the grandparent, Isabel Santos, of the political prisoner reacted to the illegal verdict:

– Despite all efforts, Palina was again sentenced in Belarus, this time to 1 year and 3 days in prison for “Malicious disobedience to the demands of administration of the correctional institution” where she is being held.

Palina addressed the court and drew attention to what she calls a "21st century concentration camp for women", given the inhumane treatment she suffered in prison in Rechytsa.

She called on the international community to do everything possible to ensure the release of all the prisoners sentenced after protests against the fraudulent 2020 elections by Lukashenka. Palina continues to resist!
