Sevastopol On Alert: Gunfire Heard In The City

Public transport has been halted and the Crimean bridge is blocked.

An air raid siren has been heard in the Russian-annexed city of Sevastopol tonight, the ВВС reports.

Local news agencies report that public transport in the city has been stopped.

Traffic on the Crimean Bridge, on the other side of the peninsula, has also been stopped.

It is not yet known what caused the air alert.

Gunfire was heard in Sevastopol the night before, followed by ambulances heading for the military hospital.

It is likely that there are wounded Russian servicemen there. This was reported in the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.

"Shots can be heard at the entrance to the bay of Sevastopol," the locals reported, showing the video.

Later it became known that ambulances were driving in columns through Sevastopol towards the military hospital of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It is likely that they are carrying the next wounded invaders.

"So another target has been hit," the locals note.
