Missile Strike On Russian Airbase Saky Causes Fire In Crimea

Satellite data confirms the strike on the airfield of the invaders.

Traces of fire were recorded near the runway of the Saky airfield in Novofedorivka in temporarily occupied Crimea. There were no fires yet on October 28, but on the 31st several fires were noticed.

This was reported by the Crimean Wind monitoring group with reference to satellite data. They said that the airfield was probably also targeted during the missile attack on the peninsula.

Recall that Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian strategic systems in Crimea on the night of October 30, which are of great importance for the overall air defense system. The Armed Forces of Ukraine used ATACMS missiles in Crimea for the first time.

The Ukrainian Defence Intelligence (GUR) assures that there are no safe places left for the Russian invaders. Ukrainian intelligence is monitoring the movements of the invaders. Now they are deploying additional air defence and missile defence systems in temporarily occupied Crimea.
