Defence Intelligence Shows Video Of Battle Resulting In Sinking Two Russian Amphibious Ships In Crimea

The “Serna” class ships were equipped with armored vehicles and “Tor” air defense systems.

The Ukrainian MoD Defence Intelligence confirmed the defeat of two landing crafts of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. Fighters showed moments of hitting enemy targets.

This was officially reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.

Details of the special operation

As confirmed by the intelligence officers, this refers to the boats of project 11770 (class “Serna”).

According to the Defence Intelligence, the ships were crewed and loaded with armored vehicles, in particular, BTR-82.

It is noted that Russia actively used small landing craft of the “Serna” class during the occupation of Snake Island for the transfer of military equipment and landing craft.

In addition, the Russians placed Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems on board the boats for mobile cover of their group on the island and in the Black Sea.

What is known about these boats

Small landing craft of the “Serna” class has high speed, can accommodate up to 45 tons of cargo and 92 armed landing personnel.

Occupiers use these cutters to land advance groups of marines or evacuate. And in the conditions of the Russians' actual lack of naval air defense equipment after a series of attacks by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, such boats with air defense systems on board served as cover for the invaders' ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation during raids.

However, as noted by Ukrainian intelligence officers, now even this idea of the Russians has been thwarted.

Night explosions in the Crimea on November 10

On the night of November 10, explosions were heard in several populated areas of the Crimea.

Local Telegram channels reported that several hits were recorded in the village of Chornomorske. An attack on the barracks of the Russian Federation was reported.

It was also loud in occupied Feodosia. Netizens assumed that the drones hit the oil depot. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that the Russian army destroyed two drones over Crimea this night.

However, later representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence Andriy Yusov reported that two landing craft of project 11770 were hit in the village of Chornomorske, and the losses suffered by the personnel of the Russians are being clarified.
