Political Scientist Reveals Patrushev’s Plans Against Putin

“The Kremlin Machiavelli” is playing his own game.

Recently, Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, has become very active in the information field. His presence in some places overshadows the activities of Vladimir Putin.

Patrushev’s activation is also noted in Ukraine. However, conclusions can be drawn later, because he may disappear from the information space as unexpectedly as he appeared. Political scientist Mykola Davydiuk expressed this opinion on Channel 24.

Patrushev plays his own game

In general, Nikolai Patrushev sometimes appears in the media space for a while, only to then fade away again. It should be observed how long his latest activity will last and whether he will be able to reveal himself as a political figure.

“Patrushev generally sees himself as Nicolo Machiavelli under Putin, an eminence grise. He may still pay for this, of course. Putin sees this, feels it and precisely builds this unquestioning leadership,” Mykola Davydiuk emphasized.

Although the former director of the FSB plays his own game, despite everything, he remains loyal to Vladimir Putin. Note that during Prigozhin’s rebellion, Patrushev could also have rebelled against the current president, but did not do so.

“He really has a chance to preserve these Kremlin and St. Petersburg elites, but replace the leader. He will try to do this in one form or another. This is important to him. I think this is now the mission of his life,” the political scientist emphasized.

Nikolai Patrushev was one of those who convinced Putin not to go to the elections, but he failed in this task. At the same time, the fate of Patrushev’s son, Dmitry, who now heads the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, will be interesting if Putin is re-elected again. Since Patrushev Sr. is actively trying to promote his son.

They say that it is Dmitry Patrushev who the Secretary of the Russian Security Council wants to make the new president.
