The head of the Russian Federation has hit the intellectual rock bottom.
At the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum on November 17, the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin loudly disgraced himself.
He tried to attribute a fake quote to the Roman philosopher Cicero, Dialog.UA reports.
Putin, while discussing the role of culture during the war, tried to pass himself off as an intellectual and made a mistake.
The head of the Kremlin said: “Cicero once said: “When the guns fire, the muses are silent.”
“With these words, the dictator of the Russian Federation demonstrated his illiteracy. Cicero did not say, and could not say, anything like that. The fact is that this outstanding Roman philosopher and politician lived before our era, and cannons were invented more than a thousand years after his death in China,” the publication notes.
