Piontkovski: USA Listend To Zaluzhny
Andrei Piontkovski

New help to Ukraine will change the situation at the front even before Christmas.

The US Congress will agree on a new aid package for Ukraine worth more than $60 billion by Christmas. It will move forward the so-called stalemate at the front, which Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny wrote about in his article.

The Kremlin is afraid of new supplies of American weapons to Ukraine. This is precisely what Putin’s recent statements about his readiness for negotiations with Kyiv are connected with.

This point of view was voiced by political scientist Andrei Piontkovski on the News Factory YouTube channel.

The analyst also focused on the fact that, in addition to the upcoming new arms deliveries, the West is demonstrating an unprecedented level of diplomatic support for Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the visits of high-ranking Western officials to Kyiv.

“It’s not even about the transfer of new weapons, it’s about a different level of political support for Ukraine, announced by the top leaders of the United States. It is no coincidence that Austin’s visit to Ukraine, the visit of the new British Foreign Minister Cameron to Ukraine appeared earlier than in his own House of Commons,” the source said.

He also dwelled in detail on the article by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Zaluzhny wrote what solutions there should be to break this situation [at the front - Ed.] - weapons, weapons, weapons. Zaluzhny’s article is addressed to American partners. I think he wrote it in close collaboration with his military colleagues. This is an appeal to the political leadership of the United States. It seems to me that the political leadership of the United States took it seriousely,” said the political scientist.
