Three Russian ships collided in the Kerch Strait during the storm on November 26.
This is reported by the SHOT Telegram-channel.
"Around 21:00, giant waves knocked the vessels "Sailor Shevchenko", "Sailor Pozynich" and "Kavkaz-5" into one heap in the Kerch Strait," the channel reported.
The vessel "Sailor Shevchenko" departed from the port "Kavkaz" and headed into the open sea. However, due to the strong wind it was difficult to control the vessel and it collided with another vessel "Sailor Pozynich", which did not have time to get out of its way.
"Together they were carried to the vessel "Kavkaz-5", which had also just taken off anchor and was trying to get out to sea, but it lacked speed, and the two "sailors" violently crashed into it," wrote the channel.
The collision of the ships resulted in them being stuck opposite each other for 20 minutes. Thanks to minor damage of the ships, it was possible to avoid fuel spillage and pollution of the water area.
"There are no casualties among people," the channel added.
