Z-Propagandists Cry Foul At Situation Near Avdiivka

‘Milbloggers” call the situation there ‘a lighter version of the Bakhmut meat grinder’.

The Russian occupiers kept going with military operations near Avdiivka direction, having achieved some successes. Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) announced the situation on this front-line section over the past 24 hours. Geolocation footage as of December 9 showed that the occupiers were located east of Stepove.

Russian milbloggers claimed that Russian forces advanced in Stepove, north of the Avdiivka Coke Plant, attacking the Ukrainian Forces in the area of the industrial zone and near Novokalynove. The General Staff of Ukraine reported that the day before they repelled 39 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaisky, Sieverne and Tonenke. Ukrainian Avdiivka City Military Administration Head Vitaliy Barabash stated that Russian forces are constantly attacking and striking Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka regardless of the weather conditions. But one of the Russian milbloggers characterized the Avdiivka front as ”a lighter version of the Bakhmut meat grinder”.

The Russian Defense Ministry continues to send infantry into battle without the support of armored vehicles into fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy is also making advances in the Marinka area. Geolocated footage from December 10 showed the presence of the Russian army on the southwestern outskirts of Marinka. Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces have retreated to the west of the city, and almost all of Marinka is already under the occupiers.
