Uncomfortable Questions To Putin At 'Direct Line' Accidentally Get On TV

A news programme on the Russian "Channel One" showed a report on the preparations for Putin's "direct line". The "uncomfortable questions" to the Russian head of state got into the broadcast.

The footage showed the screen on which the questions already received from Russians were displayed. They included a question about when the mobilised will be allowed to go home, the ВВС reported.

"Why do 300,000 people have to serve for the whole country?" the message read. The footage went viral on Telegram feeds with the news that "uncomfortable questions" had made it onto the 'Direct Line' screen.

Later, questions about mobilised people were removed from the piece, and replaced with other footage. However, the video had already been downloaded.

And during the Direct Line itself, a question from Russians to Putin appeared on the screen: "Why does your reality diverge from our one?"
