A Russian from Ukhta was an assistant grenade launcher at the front.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated a Russian at the front, known from the video of the “Hryby” band for the song “The Ice Is Melting.”
We are talking about Denis Stepanov from Ukhta, he fought against Ukraine as part of the Russian troops, and was an assistant grenade launcher.
According to the Ukraine 365 Telegram channel, Stepanov’s liquidation was confirmed by several Russian Z-publics.
Along with Stepanov, machine gunner Ruslan Rochev was also eliminated.
In 1994, Stepanov took part in the filming of a show in Severodvinsk (Arkhangelsk region, Russian Federation) about teenagers of the 90s.
A fragment of this show, in which Stepanov talks about his “tragic love story,” was inserted in 2017 into the video of the Ukrainian musical band “Hryby” (translated as “Mushrooms” — edit.) for the song “Ice is Melting.”
Over the course of 6 years, this video received 268 million views on YouTube, and the band itself ceased to exist at the end of 2017.
“Denis Vladimirovich Stepanov decided to fight with Ukraine as an assistant grenade launcher of a rifle squad, but his ice melted a little earlier than he expected,” wrote Ukrainian military correspondent Yury Butusov in his Telegram channel.
