Andrei Sannikov: Preparing Belarus For NATO Accession Should Begin Today

Peace, freedom, and prosperity today can only be protected by the Alliance.

The leader of the European Belarus civil campaign Andrei Sannikov announced the presentation of the book “Belarus to NATO”:

— I have managed to put this gift under the Christmas tree. What is happening in the region leaves us no choice when it comes to ensuring the security of a free European Belarus. Peace, freedom, and prosperity today can only be protected by NATO. All other constructions are dangerous and unrealistic.

I am convinced that we need to prepare for NATO membership today, both theoretically and practically. In this regard, I asked friends of Belarus, qualified experts and my friends to speak out on this issue. I also took part. I will not call names so far, but will only say that I read and looked through their articles with great interest, pleasure, and gratitude.
