Media: Homselmash Employee Jumps Out Of Window Of Factory Administration Building

The man was 30 years old.

The Homel publication of "Flagshtok" confirms the information about the suicide of the Homselmash employee in the building of the factory administration. The man was 30 years old, his name was Artsiom Sidarok.

The incident was initially reported on Friday by the "Real Belarus" telegram channel, with reference to a subscriber. He said that last week, a Homselmash employee committed suicide by jumping out of the window of the 5th floor of the factory administration building.

According to the subscriber, the guy was "driven to suicide": former law enforcers hold certain positions at the plant and they allegedly "are bullying the workers". "He went to the office of these ex-servicemen, and from there [after leaving], he took off his jacket and went out the window," the channel's source claims. There is no evidence of this version.

Artsiom's acquaintances confirmed to "Flagshtok" the information about his death at work. On Thursday, 30 November, the man was buried. At the same time, neither police nor the Homselmash information resources reported anything about the tragedy with the worker on the territory of the plant.

As "Flagshtok" learnt, Artsiom Sidarok was born in 1993, in 2016 he graduated from the Belarusian State University of Transport in Homel, specialising in "Non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics".
