Zaluzhny Dismisses All Assistant Consultants

Why?

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said that he had fired all assistant consultants who had worked on a voluntary basis. Assistants-volunteers were not authorized to comment publicly on any issues on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief.

Zaluzhny reported this on his Telegram channel. “In order to avoid manipulation in the media, I would like to note: assistants-volunteers did not have the authority to publicly comment on any issues on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.

Zaluzhny emphasized that everything they said was solely their own opinion.

He also informed that since December 28, 2023, he no longer had assistant consultants who worked on a voluntary basis.

In this way, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to the scandal surrounding founder of the “Defense of the Future” foundation Alla Martynyuk, who disgraced herself with a statement about mobilization on the Iceland Youtube channel.

“There is no need to panic that your son will die in the war. We’re all going to die and it’s better to die with dignity than to have a brick fall on your head, or get hit by a car,” she said.

It is noteworthy that the channel quoted Martynyuk as “an assistant-consultant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” but Zaluzhny denied this information.
